These Terms form an agreement between you, as a user or member, and Wyrm Software, who administer this site and who are referred to as 'we' in the rest of these Terms. They apply to all web sites under the meetingplaces.net domain including any sub-domains and any others operated by Wyrm Software (wyrmsoftware.co.uk, wyrmsoftware.com, etc) in conjunction with this domain. Collectively these will be referred to as 'Meeting Places' in these terms and conditions. We recommend that you take time to read these terms as they set out the benefits of this service as well as the limitations. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of 'Meeting Places' confirms that you have read and agree to these terms and that you agree to be bound by any future terms that we may decide upon. You agree that these Terms and Conditions, and any Agreements contained within, shall be written in English. In other words, this is the legal bit that is needed to keep the site running smoothly and to provide you with the best user experience. |

1. Accepting these Terms As soon as you have completed the registration process to become a member of this site, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms. Whenever these Terms are updated, we will inform you of the case via e-mail. If you continue to use the site then you are deemed to have accepted the new Terms. It is up to you to keep your e-mail address up to date; non-delivery of any notifying e-mail does not exclude anyone from updated Terms. These Terms are always available for view by anyone from a link on the index page of the website. We reserve the right to remove any memberships which violate these Terms. |

2. Age Restrictions (16+) Sorry, but no one under the age of 16 is permitted to be a member of this site. By completing the registration process and becoming a member you are warranting that you are at least 16 years of age. If you are resident in a country other than the UK then you must also be at least the age at which you are responsible for your own actions according to the laws of that country. We reserve the right to remove any membership where we believe the member to be under the age limit. |

3. Data Restrictions You are required by these Terms to enter accurate information about yourself in the registration process. You must take all steps to guard your membership username and password. As a member you are fully responsible for any activities that occur through using your username and password to log into this site. If your username and password have been compromised, or your membership used without your authorisation, then you must change your password and notify us immediately. You are not permitted to upload or enter any information, images, video, audio, or other data which is prohibited by law. This includes, but is not limited to, material which is libellous, an infringement of copyright, obscene, harassing, abusive, threatening, or otherwise unlawful. Neither we nor 'Meeting Places' can be held accountable for the accuracy, validity, or copyright of any information which is uploaded to this site. All information and content on this site should be treated as copyright under international copyright law. No part of this site can be used for any purpose other than personal, non-commercial, use. Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to, reproducing, copying, redistributing, or collating for any commercial or non-personal purpose. We reserve the right to take action against anyone who engages in any of these prohibited activities. |

4. Service Restrictions Some of the services provided by 'Meeting Places' are currently free of charge. Though we will endeavour to keep them as such, we reserve the right to change that policy and charge for these services at any time. We reserve the right to terminate or otherwise discontinue any of the services offered by this site, and you agree that 'Meeting Places' will not be liable to you or any third party in such an event. Computers being what they are, it is possible that at times the service offered by this site may be unavailable. It is also possible that data held on the system may go missing. By becoming a member you agree not to hold 'Meeting Places' responsible for any loss of data or settings, or any disruption to the services the site offers. This includes, but is not limited to, removal of membership settings and profile data, failure to transmit messages and other data or late delivery of such, miss-delivery of communications. You may only use the services provided on this site for legitimate lawful purposes. You agree not to use any of the services provided on this site for any unsolicited mass distribution of messages, images, or other data. This includes, but is not limited to, spam, chain-letters, and junk-mail. If you receive any such communication, please bring it to our attention so we can prevent it occurring again. |

5. Privacy All data entered by you is subject to the UK Data Protection Act 1998. This means that we must collect the information in a fair manner, and explain how we are going to use that data. We must store your information in a secure manner. We must also tell you if we want to pass the information on to anyone else. Our policy is not to pass any information on to any third parties unless you consent to do so. The only exceptions to this are a. where we have been legally required to supply information, and b. where you have violated these Terms, or engaged in disruptive behaviour, or posted inappropriate content, where we will report such behaviour to the organisation providing your internet access. You agree that any data you enter or upload onto this site, other than that entered when registering to become a member, may be made available to other members of this site. All services will explain what the information you are entering is used for, and may also have additional Terms to this. We will not give out any of the data you enter when registering to become a member. We will also endeavour to restrict access to your data as directed by yourself, though we do not guarantee this. When you remove any information, or delete your membership, we will not keep any part of your personal information other than is legally required. We will also try to ensure that your username is not used for a period of one month after you delete it. |

6. Disclaimer All services provided by 'Meeting Places' are used at your own risk. They are provided without warranty of functionality or availability and supply no form of warranty of any kind. 'Meeting Places' provides no warranty of any kind and is not liable for any loss of service, failure of any service to meet your expectations or requirements, erroneous results or errors, quality of information or service, loss of communication or data, or errors in the software. You are wholly responsible for your use of this site, and for downloading any material or content from it. We will not be liable for any damage to your computer system(s) through your use of this site, or from downloading any content from it. You agree that the content of any member of 'Meeting Places' is wholly the responsibility of that member, and that we do not endorse or are liable for any such content irrespective of the form it takes, its status in law, or whether it violates these Terms or not. You agree to inform us immediately of any content on this site which violates these Terms. You agree that we may, at our sole discretion, alter, remove, move, rename, or refuse any content that is publicly available via the services available on 'Meeting Places'. We do not check every item of content on 'Meeting Places', and we do not guarantee to provide any pre-screening service on content. You agree that neither we nor 'Meeting Places' are liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages that you may suffer through either your use or inability to use this site, the availability or accuracy of this site, unauthorised use or alteration of data on this site, the behaviour or conduct of any member of this site, or any other matters which arise through your membership of this site. You agree that you will protect 'Meeting Places' and fully compensate them from any and all legal actions arising from your use of the services provided, any violation of these Terms, or any infringement of copyright. |

7. Terms of Service THIS AGREEMENT IS A LEGAL AND BINDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU, THE MEMBER AND END USER, AND US, THE SERVICE PROVIDER ('MEETING PLACES'). YOU SHOULD READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE PAYING FOR ANY SERVICES PROVIDED BY 'MEETINGPLACES'. BY COMPLETING THE PAYMENT PROCESS FOR ANY SERVICE OFFERED, YOU ARE CONFIRMING THAT YOU ARE A PARTY TO THIS AGREEMENT AND CONFIRMING THAT YOU WILL BE BOUND BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS HEREIN. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS THEN YOU SHOULD NOT COMPLETE THE PAYMENT PROCESS. 'Meeting Places' reserves the right to change any part of this agreement, and other agreements specific to individual services, at any time. Any use of the services provided by 'Meeting Places' after this Agreement has been changed (usually indicated by a change notification) indicates that you fully accept and agree to be bound by the new Terms. Absence or non-delivery of any modification notification does not prevent acceptance of any new Terms, you are responsible for checking that these Terms on a regular basis. You are responsible for paying any periodic service subscription fees when requested to. All fees will be given in pounds sterling. By making a payment you automatically authorise us (Wyrm Software) to charge the cost of the service subscriptions to either your credit or debit card or another accepted means of payment. You are also wholly responsible for any fees charged to your credit card by any third party not authorised by us to do so. A. Acceptable Use By using any of the services provided by 'Meeting Places', you agree to post content, information, images, messages, and other data that are related directly to the service and also to the subject matter of the service or of the part of it you are posting to. The following are examples (but not limitations) of activities that you agree not to carry out using any of the services provided by 'Meeting Places'.
B. Termination of Accounts We reserve the right to terminate your account at any time, without any refund, for all or any part of 'Meeting Places', without any notice, for any reason whatsoever. C. Monitoring We will only carry out monitoring of services where we are required to do so under UK Law. We do, however, reserve the right to disclose or remove any content or information as required under UK Law, or to investigate inappropriate behaviour, when requested. D. Usage All services provided by 'Meeting Places' are effectively public, so any communications you may make can be read by any member without your approval. Any communications, or other information entered into any service, are done so at your own risk. We are not responsible for theft of content or information, misuse of posted content or information, nor do we endorse or control the content or information posted into the services. We are specifically not liable for any communications made through any of our services. Some services allow moderators for specific areas. These moderators do not act or speak on behalf of 'Meeting Places' and are subject to exactly the same terms and conditions as any other member. By posting content, information, images, or any other type of data you are granting 'Meeting Places' the right to use, modify, copy, distribute, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, reproduce, publish, create derivative works from, or transfer your data. We do respect the copyright of any such data, which will remain with the author or copyright holder. |
